Ok now we start and its Memorial Day weekend so we are going to christen the build biker shop style.
Chris and helper Brandy, Is her job to get Chris what ever he needs at the work lift, inspect all parts before giving to him and make sure all the hardware is packaged with the part in zip-locks marked, put tools away. she says, "we gonna start this Memorial Day Build off right and if ya don't like it FTW"
PoppaJohn is here to see it's done right, only watches and says nothing unless he sees something not done right, like just wrenching a nut or bolt tight, everything is torque to bolt specs not just tightened he will remind you and make you change the bolt or nut and everyone must be treated with blue lok-tite. Here's your painter, now we gonna party this build and get getturdun.
Builder Chris, painter Smiley, Brandy go over assembly timing schedule. Nobody works by the hour here, I furnish everything they need and contract the assembly to them at a set price before each job. I go over assembly step and tell them just how its got to be, my way period. I expect each of them to watch each other on these assembly instructions if they want their money.
Party over and negotiations over and frame powder coated, all parts laid out in order, set the fork and wheels and get going. After party took two days to coat frame and lay out parts, mount & balance wheels and get started.
As of Monday we have gotten this far and found bad bearings in the inner primary at the transmission shaft, build stopped at this point until we get proper bearing. Can not go further until it is in so we can align engine, transmission, rear sprocket, Fenders and tank not painted as yet as we must set them properly, drill mount holes and fab. the tank mounts. Lot more to do. The Ultima El-Bruto 127 will put 140+ hp to the ground, better be careful with this "BRUTE", loose respect for it and it will teach you.
